Here is the Development Roadmap for 2025-2026. Please note that updates and listed features are not guaranteed to be released or released on time, and that the development speed depends on developer’s free time availability.
In version 1.2.2, I will focus on bringing current version of the website into the best shape. Better image storage approach will be developed, which will make image loading faster. It will allow users to place watermark in custom position and makes it possible to add copyright footer to the screenshots, just like the ones real-life aviation photography websites have. Release is planned for this year.
In the following update, version 1.3, database will hold much more metadata. Pages for information about addons, aircraft, airlines, airports will be created, allowing you to also see related pictures. Search feature will be improved as well, allowing you to search for more. Release is planned for Q2 2026.
Finally, version 1.4 will bring extended profile customization possibilities, improved picture upload flow and the codebase will be open-sourced. Release is planned for Q4 2026.
